The Guide to Unrequited Love

His job is to travel between each small world, striving to play the tragic male supporting character, enduring the bitterness of love, suffering the torment of the protagonist, and then pushing the beautiful love story of the two protagonists forward. His partner, 996, has high hopes for Qin Qing’s superb acting skills. However, after several worlds, it discovers that Qin Qing, this flower spirit, is not only beautiful but also covered in thorns. He doesn’t want to be a male supporting character; he wants to steal the spotlight, to be the protagonist… 

996: Qin Qing, this is your script. You’re a male supporting character who has a crush on the male lead. Your role is simple: just obediently get tortured.

Qin Qing: Tortured?

996: Yes, is there a problem?

Qin Qing (smiling): No, no problem.

996: If there’s no problem, let’s start filming! Come on, first scene, action! After a few scenes…

996 (breaking down): Cut, Cut, Cut! Qin Qing, what are you doing? You’re a tragic supporting character. How did you manage to steal all the male leads away?

Qin Qing: Sorry, I just happened to do it.

996 (furious): Just a casual touch? You stole all the main character’s scenes, and you’re telling me it’s just a casual touch? If you’re so capable, why are you playing the tragic male supporting role? Go be a Casanova!

Qin Qing (laughs): How did you know my name before I started acting?
