AMBTICBPIB Chapter 63

The Most Beautiful Abs

At the end of June, school finally let out for summer break.

For most students, this meant a two-month vacation, but for Chu Yi, it marked the beginning of a year-long break.

Chu Yi and Jiang Xu walked toward the school gate together.

Jiang Xu seemed reluctant to part. Chu Yi reassured him, “We can still hang out! Or you can come visit me at home.”

Hearing this, Jiang Xu felt less downhearted. If he missed Chu Yi, he could always visit him with Zhou Huaixiao.

As Chu Yi and Jiang Xu reached the school gate, Shen Jin stepped forward to greet them, taking Chu Yi’s backpack.

With summer vacation finally here, Shen Jin seemed even more excited than the college students.

Even Jiang Xu noticed, whispering to Chu Yi, “Your husband seems especially happy.”

After learning about Chu Yi’s pregnancy, Jiang Xu had realized that Shen Jin wasn’t just Chu Yi’s boyfriend, but his husband—Chu Yi was already married.

Chu Yi glanced at Shen Jin, placed his backpack in the car, and stood beside him, waiting. A smile overflowed from his eyes. Shen Jin really did seem even happier than he was.

Chu Yi waved goodbye to Jiang Xu as Zhou Huaixiao arrived to pick him up. Their school’s vacation had started a day earlier than Chu Yi’s.

Shen Jin told Chu Yi, “From now on, I’ll try to stay home and spend more time with you.”

Shen Jin had been preparing for this moment. He now had complete control over the company’s operations team, with professional managers balancing each other out under his absolute authority. This meant he no longer needed to handle many tasks personally.

Chu Yi was naturally delighted that Shen Jin could spend more time at home with him.

Chu Yi’s vacation brought joy not only to Shen Jin but also to Uncle Wen.

During Chu Yi’s school term, Uncle Wen had constantly fretted about him at home. Even while Chu Yi was in class, Uncle Wen worried endlessly.

Now that Chu Yi was on vacation, Uncle Wen could finally take proper care of him.

That evening, Uncle Wen prepared a lavish dinner to celebrate Chu Yi’s vacation.

As the three glasses of fruit juice clinked together, Chu Yi felt an overwhelming sense of happiness.

After arriving here, Chu Yi realized that life could be filled with rituals. Shen Jin and Uncle Wen had introduced him to countless such moments.

Shen Jin explained that he would try to stay home with Chu Yi as much as possible, so he no longer needed to go to the office for routine matters and began working from home.

Every morning and afternoon, assistants would deliver documents for Shen Jin to sign and then take them away.

Meetings were conducted via video conference, and most issues were resolved during these sessions.

Previously, during meetings, President Shen’s expression had been stern, and the senior executives would listen intently, terrified of accidentally provoking his anger.

But now, while President Shen’s expression remained serious, the atmosphere felt less cold and ruthless.

Though his gaze was fixed on the screen, he would occasionally glance to the side, as if someone very important to him were nearby.

And indeed, the most important person in President Shen’s life was nearby.

While Shen Jin was in his meeting, Chu Yi leaned back on the sofa, reading a book. When Shen Jin glanced over again, he found Chu Yi had fallen asleep on the sofa.

During the video conference, the executives heard Shen Jin say, “Just a moment.” Then they watched President Shen stand up, grab a small blanket, and walk out of frame. A minute later, he reappeared, the blanket no longer in his hands.

That day, after delivering documents to Shen Jin and finishing his official duties, Chen Ye awkwardly approached Chu Yi and said, “This is a gift for you and the baby.”

The usually cold-faced and ruthless bodyguard revealed a rare moment of shyness and tenderness.

Chen Ye had never been in a romantic relationship before, nor had he ever given anyone a gift. After days of careful deliberation, he finally decided on something for Chu Yi and the baby.

This was his first time giving a gift, so he felt embarrassed when he presented it to Chu Yi.

Chu Yi exclaimed in delight, “Thank you, Brother Chen Ye!”

Shen Jin, standing nearby, smiled.

A few days earlier, Chen Ye had solemnly asked Shen Jin if he could give Chu Yi and the baby a gift. Shen Jin had replied, “Of course you can.”

Although Chen Ye was his bodyguard, he was also someone Shen Jin trusted deeply. He was pleased that so many people cared for Chu Yi.

Since he was working from home these past few days, Shen Jin decided to give Chen Ye a break.

Chen Ye refused. “Mr. Shen, I don’t need a vacation. I need to protect your safety.”

Chu Yi now understood why Chen Ye had always stayed so close to Shen Jin whenever they went out together.

“Don’t worry, Chen Ye-ge,” Chu Yi said. “I’ll take good care of Shen Jin.”

Shen Jin nodded proudly. “That’s right, our Chu Yi will protect me. You haven’t had a proper rest in ages, have you? Take this time to relax.”

Shen Jin now had the ability to better protect himself and his family.

Chen Ye finally relented. “Alright, I’ll take a week off.”

“Two weeks,” Shen Jin insisted. “Go home now and don’t come to work tomorrow. Paid vacation.”

As Chen Ye left, Chu Yi’s eyes sparkled with admiration as he gazed at Shen Jin. “You looked so, so cool when you told Chen Ye-ge to take a vacation!”

Shen Jin glanced at him. “Oh? Just words?”

Chu Yi leaned in and planted a quick kiss on his cheek.

Uncle Wen, who happened to be passing by, was now quite used to such scenes.

The two chatted and laughed for a while before Chu Yi drifted off to sleep.

When Dr. Meng arrived, Chu Yi was sound asleep, lying with his head in Shen Jin’s lap.

Seeing this, Dr. Meng casually joined Uncle Wen for tea and conversation.

After waiting for over half an hour, Chu Yi finally woke up and noticed Dr. Meng’s arrival. He playfully nudged Shen Jin. “Why didn’t you wake me?”

Dr. Meng had come to perform acupuncture on Shen Jin, a crucial part of his treatment.

“I just got here,” Dr. Meng replied.

Chu Yi glanced at the two cups of tea nearby, regarding Dr. Meng with a mixture of suspicion and amusement.

After the acupuncture session, Dr. Meng also examined Chu Yi. Though still a bit slender, Chu Yi appeared healthy, with a rosy complexion, and the baby in his womb was thriving.

That evening, Chu Yi performed his usual checkup on Shen Jin.

Shen Jin, stripped down to only his shorts at Chu Yi’s request, displayed his long arms and legs, his physique breathtakingly sculpted.

After a thorough examination, Shen Jin asked, “Can I put my clothes on now?”

Chu Yi swallowed hard. “Yes.”

As Shen Jin pulled on his pajama pants, Chu Yi suddenly blurted out, “Wait, don’t put your shirt on yet. Can I feel your abs for a bit?”

What could be wrong with that?

Shen Jin tossed his shirt back onto the bed and smiled at Chu Yi. “Go ahead, touch as much as you want.”

Chu Yi had never had abs himself. His stomach had always been soft and flat, and it remained soft now, though slightly rounded. He knew he would never achieve Shen Jin’s perfectly sculpted eight-pack, so every time he saw them, he couldn’t resist reaching out to touch.

*I may not have abs, but Shen Jin does.*

Chu Yi’s hands explored, kneading and squeezing the firm muscles. The texture was so satisfying that he grinned foolishly, clearly delighted.

This made Shen Jin immensely happy. *I have to maintain these abs forever,* he thought. *What if Chu Yi starts liking someone else’s abs?*

Chu Yi’s fingertips, slightly cool, traced slow, deliberate paths across the hot, solid muscles. Shen Jin remained motionless, watching him with a tender, indulgent gaze.

At first, everything seemed normal, Chu Yi absorbed in the sensual feel of the abs. But when his fingertips drifted down to Shen Jin’s V-line, Chu Yi swallowed hard, his breathing quickening noticeably.

Shen Jin’s V-line was exceptionally defined, adding to his allure. Chu Yi knew exactly what lay beneath that line, and his anxiety grew as his fingertips slowly slid lower.

Shen Jin’s heavy breathing echoed from above.

Having tasted the marrow, both Shen Jin and Chu Yi craved more.

Chu Yi regretted playing with fire.

When he looked up at Shen Jin, his slightly reddened eyes were even more alluring. He called out Shen Jin’s name softly, “Shen Jin.”

The sound made Shen Jin’s breath catch. He understood the meaning in Chu Yi’s gaze.

Shen Jin’s voice was slightly hoarse. “I’ll help you.”

During their time sharing a bed and embracing each other, it was impossible for them not to feel something. Yet both had been holding back out of mutual consideration.

Shen Jin had helped Chu Yi several times, always restraining himself.

Chu Yi shook his head and whispered, “I asked Dr. Meng.”

“Hmm?” Shen Jin responded.

Chu Yi looked at him, his voice soft but clear. “Dr. Meng said it’s safe between three and seven months.”

Now that he was over four months along, it was perfectly safe.

“When did you ask?” Shen Jin asked.

“This afternoon,” Chu Yi replied.

Shen Jin finally remembered Chu Yi’s secret conversation with Dr. Meng. So that’s what they had been discussing.

Taking a deep breath, Shen Jin murmured, “Chu Yi, be good. Let me help you.”

Chu Yi shook his head. “No.”

Shen Jin was about to speak again when Chu Yi leaned in and kissed him. His words struck Shen Jin’s heart like hammer blows: “Shen Jin, I’ve missed you.”

Those words left Shen Jin utterly helpless.

He kissed Chu Yi, then removed the bracelet from his own wrist and fastened it around Chu Yi’s.

Chu Yi blinked, confused about why Shen Jin was putting it on him. He soon found out.

Lying in bed, Shen Jin held Chu Yi from behind, kissing his ear. Even their post-coital tenderness was romantic.

“Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?” Shen Jin asked, his voice soft. He had been careful, but he was still worried.

The corners of Chu Yi’s eyes were flushed crimson, and his gaze was still watery, but his voice was gentle. “No, you told me to wear the bracelet, didn’t you?”

He never imagined the bracelet could be used in this way.

When the bracelet vibrated, the tingling sensation spread from his wrist throughout his body. In their current state, it was an indescribably strange sensation, making Chu Yi cry even harder.

Shen Jin kept a close eye on the bracelet’s color, which remained a pale green throughout. He didn’t dare push things too far.

Chu Yi turned around and pressed a kiss to Shen Jin’s cheek.

Shen Jin held Chu Yi in his arms, his face radiating contentment and affection. He said, “But we can’t do it too often, okay? No more than twice a month. I’ll help you with the rest.”

Chu Yi hummed in protest, clearly dissatisfied.

Shen Jin kissed his neck, coaxing him, “Once you’ve given birth to the baby, begging for mercy won’t do you any good.”
