TYMRHBDES Chapter 183

The man in his arms sobbed softly, his fingers brushing his shirt with feather-light touches, as if afraid of hurting Pei Yu.

‘It must hurt so much.’

The scent of blood lingered in the air. His wound hadn’t been properly treated yet, and the thick blood had soaked into his black shirt, spreading in a dark stain.

Pei Yu grasped his hand, bringing it to his lips for a gentle kiss.

“Hubby doesn’t feel any pain.”

The man in his arms looked up, tears like rolling pearls streaming down his jade-white face. He sniffled, his voice thick with grievance.

“You’re lying…”

“How could it not hurt, Pei Yu…”

He wept as he spoke, his tear-soaked eyelashes clinging to his eyelids, his nose red from crying.

With trembling hands, he carefully tugged at Pei Yu’s shirt. Tears poured down even faster, his eyes rimmed red.

“It must hurt so, so much, Pei Yu…”

“Even I can feel the pain…”

Pei Yu was the one who had been injured.

Yet Jiang Luoluo felt a crushing ache in his chest, making every breath a ragged, painful struggle.

Pei Yu’s heart clenched as he watched the man’s beautiful face, now a tear-streaked mess, as if the tears wouldn’t stop.

He pulled him into a tight embrace, his large hand gently patting Jiang Luoluo’s back to soothe his breathing.

“Don’t cry, baby.”

“Hubby’s fine.”

“As long as you are safe and sound, and your life is smooth and happy.”

“Hubby would do anything for you.”

After they got back, Pei Yu was ordered by his precious wife to stay home and rest, forbidden from going anywhere.

He thought it over and had Zhang Hao bring over the most urgent documents, leaving the rest for his subordinates to handle.

Zhang Hao, still clueless about what had happened, marched in with the briefcase. The moment he stepped into the living room, he saw his boss, Pei Yu, sitting on the sofa, being fed soup spoonful by spoonful by Jiang Luoluo.

Taking advantage of the moment Jiang Luoluo went back to the kitchen with the bowl, Zhang Hao quietly gave a thumbs-up.

“Your place in the family is impressive, Brother!”

Nowadays, both inside and outside their circle, who didn’t call their Pei Yu a model husband?

A man who was so cool, arrogant, and badass outside was a complete “wife-slave” in front of Jiang Luoluo.

The company belonged to his wife, the assets belonged to his wife, and even in his award acceptance speeches, the first person he always thanked was his wife.

Their Pei Yu truly cherished Luoluo, holding him in the palm of his hand.

Pei Yu glanced at him. “Help me think. What else can I give him for our wedding anniversary this year?”

In the few years they had been married, they had already gone through houses, cars, jewelry, gold, stocks, luxury goods, and antiques…

He had already given him almost everything he could think of.

Zhang Hao scratched his head and quickly threw out seven or eight suggestions, but Pei Yu shot them all down one by one.

Zhang Hao was exasperated.

‘I’m a single guy who’s never even dated! The fact that I could even come up with these is impressive enough! And Brother Pei is still being so picky!’

Pei Yu glanced toward the kitchen. “Is there something the two of us can do together? Something that would bring us closer?”

Zhang Hao shot Pei Yu a strange look, his face flushing a deep red. He fidgeted awkwardly. “Do I really have to say it out loud…?”

Pei Yu: “?”

Zhang Hao raised both hands and clapped three times. *Clap. Clap. Clap.*

Pei Yu: “…”

Pei Yu’s expression turned serious. “What kind of nonsense is that?” He added, “Do I really need you to teach me *that*?”

Zhang Hao nodded vigorously. “Yes, yes, yes!”

“I meant something more proper,” Pei Yu said. “Something I can do with Luoluo that’s also really meaningful.”

“Ideally, something that lets everyone know I’m his and he’s mine the moment they see it.”

Zhang Hao thought for a moment and nodded. “Actually, there is one thing.”

***

Jiang Luoluo had originally wanted Pei Yu to stay and rest for a bit longer.

But just before their wedding anniversary, an urgent matter at the company couldn’t wait, so Pei Yu went back to work.

After all, his injuries had long since healed.

The house felt instantly empty, and Jiang Luoluo grew a little despondent. He only cheered up when someone asked him out shopping.

Shortly after he returned home at noon, Pei Yu came back early.

But Pei Yu just gave a quick greeting before retreating to his room, as if he had something urgent to attend to.

The words Jiang Luoluo had been about to say were swallowed back down.

He wanted to ask Pei Yu if he remembered what day tomorrow was, and where they could go together.

But Pei Yu was too busy; he seemed to have already forgotten.

Jiang Luoluo couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed as he slowly walked upstairs.

His phone vibrated twice. Jiang Luoluo swiped to answer, and Pei Yu’s voice came through the line:

“Babe, I left something in the study. Could you bring it up for me?”

Jiang Luoluo obediently murmured an “Mm,” and went to the study as Pei Yu had described.

On the study desk sat a square, exquisitely wrapped box.

He instinctively thought it was the wedding anniversary gift Pei Yu had prepared for him. But on closer inspection, he saw a calligraphy brush mark on it.

That definitely meant it wasn’t for him.

After all, he didn’t know how to write with a calligraphy brush.

Jiang Luoluo picked up the box and headed upstairs toward the open-air swimming pool.

Pei Yu was leaning against the pool’s edge, his upper body bare, revealing the smooth, well-defined muscles of his chest. He looked as if he had been waiting for him all along.

His black hair, wet from the water, had been slicked back by his own hand, accentuating his sharp, handsome features and extraordinary presence.

Even though he had seen this sight countless times, Jiang Luoluo still couldn’t help but blush.

Clutching the box to his chest, he asked in a soft, melodious tone, “Do I put it here?”

Pei Yu reached out to take the box, and Jiang Luoluo handed it over.

Suddenly, his wrist was gripped tight. *Splash!*

Jiang Luoluo was yanked into the water.

Water droplets sprayed into the air as he stood up, his small hands covering his face.

Crystal-clear beads of water slid down his eyelashes, traced the contours of his snow-white face, and vanished beneath the collar of his shirt at his pointed chin.

The thin white fabric of his clothes, now soaked, clung to his body, faintly outlining his fair skin beneath.

His starry eyes were shimmering with water, and his red lips were parted slightly, revealing a hint of his pink tongue as he gasped in surprise.

He looked every bit the seductive little fox spirit, ready to steal a man’s heart.

Pei Yu draped an arm over his shoulder, a mischievous smile playing on his handsome face as he leaned close to his ear.

“What’s wrong, wifey?”

Their warm skin pressed together, and the heat between them began to rise.

His scorching gaze seemed to materialize into a blazing fire, and his breath, caressing the shell of Jiang Luoluo’s ear, was like a dangerous yet seductive snake.

Flicking its tongue, it threatened to devour him whole.

The blush on Jiang Luoluo’s face spread all the way down his neck. He scrambled to swim to the other side of the pool, his voice soft and stuttering.

“N-nothing…”

He had barely swum ten centimeters away before a large hand clamped around his slender ankle.

The palm was scorching hot, and a thumb stroked his ankle as a deep, pleasing voice murmured, “Why are you running?”

With a gentle tug on his ankle, Jiang Luoluo was pulled right back.

Pei Yu pinned him against the pool wall, his dark eyes fixed on Jiang Luoluo’s face, his tone dripping with ambiguity.

“Babe, I want to give you a gift. Do you want to see what it is?”

‘He’s definitely up to no good.’

Jiang Luoluo’s eyelashes fluttered, his snow-white face flushed crimson. “What is it?” he asked softly.

Pei Yu took his hand. “Kiss me, wife. And I’ll tell you.”

Jiang Luoluo’s face turned even redder.

His cheeks were a vivid red, and his neck was a soft pink.

Pei Yu’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he looked down at the man before him, unable to help but lose himself in the sight.

‘When he’s aroused, his whole body will be flushed pink.’

‘Stunningly beautiful.’

Jiang Luoluo glared at him again.

Though it was less of a glare and more of a seductive gaze, his eyes shimmering like autumn ripples.

Pei Yu lowered his head and took the initiative to kiss Jiang Luoluo’s lips. Then, he raised his wrist, turning the back of his hand toward Jiang Luoluo.

Tattooed on the back of his hand, where blue veins traced beneath the skin, was a portrait of Jiang Luoluo—

His head slightly tilted, his almond-shaped eyes smiling, the corners of his lips curved upward.

Jiang Luoluo blinked very, very slowly. He raised his small hand and gently stroked the image of himself.

The feeling was strange and wonderful.

Pei Yu looked down at him and asked, “Do you like it?”

Jiang Luoluo nodded obediently.

Pei Yu smiled, took two of Jiang Luoluo’s fingers in his hand, and kissed them.

Then, under Jiang Luoluo’s upturned gaze, he lowered his head and kissed the portrait of Jiang Luoluo on the back of his own hand.

A *boom* echoed in Jiang Luoluo’s mind.

This feeling was even stranger.

He felt like both the one experiencing it and the one witnessing it.

“This way, my wife will always be with me.”

Jiang Luoluo thought for a moment, then extended his own fair and tender little hand.

“Then I’ll get one too.”

Pei Yu stroked his face. “I can’t bear to let you do that.”

As he spoke, he opened the box Jiang Luoluo had brought over.

“You don’t need a tattoo. How about I draw one for you?”

The request wasn’t unreasonable. Jiang Luoluo nodded and obediently held out his hand.

Pei Yu smiled as he looked at him, a look that made Jiang Luoluo feel a bit strange.

A moment later,

Jiang Luoluo watched as Pei Yu started taking off his clothes, his confusion deepening as he tried to understand what was happening.

“Aren’t you going to paint on my hands?”

“There’s not enough space on your hands.”

Pei Yu spoke as he efficiently stripped Jiang Luoluo bare, leaving him in only a pair of milky-white short boxers. Below, his slender, straight legs were exposed, his knees a soft, delicate pink.

“Alright, lie down.”

Pei Yu patted the bed beside him.

Jiang Luoluo lay down, his expression a mix of doubt and trust.

He waited tensely for the first brushstroke to fall, but after a long moment, Pei Yu still hadn’t moved.

Jiang Luoluo tilted his head to look back, meeting Pei Yu’s eyes.

Pei Yu stared at him and sighed.

“I can’t bring myself to do it.”

His snow-white skin was flawless, smoother than the finest silk.

He desperately wanted to soil his treasure, to leave his own marks all over him.

But now that the other man had obediently lain down, he couldn’t bear to do it.

Jiang Luoluo blinked his moist, large eyes and said softly, “Alright then.”

He propped himself up on the bed with both hands and slowly knelt, preparing to stand up. But Pei Yu’s hand came to rest on his waist.

Slender fingers tapped gently, and a cool, low voice drifted from behind him.

“Baby, Hubby’s been thinking.”

“Since we bought this brush, we might as well use it.”

Jiang Luoluo didn’t understand what Pei Yu meant, but he hummed in agreement.

“I just don’t know if this brush is any good…”

The man’s deep voice carried a hint of a laugh, laced with seductive allure.

“So, baby, will you help me test it out?”

“Good boy, just relax.”

Pei Yu went from offering his heart’s blood for eternal love to tattooing his wife on his hand. And now he’s found a creative use for that calligraphy brush. Zhang Hao, you have officially enabled a menace. 😭☕ Please support your poor translator!
