The next day, “Operation Red Owl” started filming again in full swing.

However, even though Chu Yinlong was quite prestigious amongst crew members, after the scandal the night before yesterday, the atmosphere was a little subtle. Some young staff with little knowledge, in particular, looked at Jiang Dao with undisguised contempt in their eyes.

Jiang Dao didn’t care much about this, but Chu Yinlong’s face sank.

However, they just had bad eyes, and didn’t sneer or ostracize him. Their work was still orderly and timely, and he couldn’t blame them.

Today, the first scene they filmed is the scene of Jess and Xu Zhou fighting, chasing, and fleeing in the base of the criminal organization. In addition to Jiang Dao and Jing Yu, there is also a substitute similar in size to Jing Yu.

Chu Yinlong has high requirements for his action scenes, and many scenes require actual fighting. Coupled with the use of terrain and props, the actors must have a certain ability to fight – it’s impossible to fake hits in many scenes, so they can only try to restrain their strength and avoid the key areas during the shooting process.

Therefore, even though Jing Yu had studied sanda for a period of time before joining the group, most of the close combat scenes could only be shot by the substitute. For the convenience of editing, Jiang Dao and the substitute will complete the filming first, and then the scene is filled in with close-up shots of Jing Yu.

Chu Yinlong personally instructed them on the movements several times, and both of them learned very quickly.

This is a short and fast pursuit and close combat scene. Neither of them have weapons in their hands yet, so the scene is relatively safer and simpler.

At the beginning of the scene, Jess, played by Jiang Dao, rushed towards Xu Zhou, who was running away. Startled, Xu Zhou turned around to resist, twisting his waist and lifting his leg and kicked Jess’s neck. After escaping, Jess continued to pursue him. After catching up again, Xu Zhou dodges an attack and gets close, followed by a series of quick punches.

Filming started off smoothly, however, in the final fight, Jiang Dao realized that something was wrong.

The force that the substitute exerted was much heavier than he expected. In order to avoid a direct injury, he could only choose to unload the force to the side and dodge.

“Stop.”

Sure enough, Chu Yinlong, who was strict with action scenes, called out immediately.

Surprisingly, instead of reprimanding him, he glanced at the two of them and said lightly, “Again.”

In the venue, the staff reset the props and filming resumed.

Chu Yinlong suddenly got up from behind the camera, walked towards a spot that wouldn’t block the camera or lights, and looked at the two in the field: “Again.”

Filming resumed again. The chase and escape in the first half were still very smooth. A few seconds later, the two entered into the fight again. The substitute raised his leg and kicked Jiang Dao.

Chu Yinlong stood in front of Jiang Dao, retracted his hand, and rubbed his palm lightly.

After he finished speaking, Chu Yinlong turned to look at Jiang Dao.

“Chu Yinlong, you can’t rely on your fame to be so domineering!” The substitute shook off the assistant’s hand, and shouted. Folding his arms, he stood there, refusing to leave.

Chu Yinlong glanced at him with an indifferent expression: “Do you want me to invite you in person?”

Hearing this, the substitute was obviously a little shy, but his face was still full of unwillingness.

“Mr. Chu,” Jiang Dao suddenly whispered, “Wait, Let me ask him a few words.”

“Huh?” Chu Yinlong looked back at him.

Before Jiang Dao, he inadvertently rubbed his arm and asked with a smile, “What’s the reason for you targeting me like this?”

A bruise will soon appear.

However, the risk of this action scene is clearly the lowest. As long as the actors control their strength, let alone redness and bruises, none of it will hurt too much.

Seeing this situation, Chu Yinlong’s expression changed before the substitute could reply. He stretched out his hand and pulled Jiang Dao back to his side, half-protecting him in his arms, turning his head and shouting, “Medical staff!”

It took the medical crew two seconds to react, before hurrying forward with the medicine box to check Jiang Dao’s arm.

“There’s no need for such a big fuss…” Jiang Dao felt helpless.

Chu Yinlong: “Shut up. Your injury is serious, why didn’t you tell me on the spot?”

Although he could also observe that the substitute used more strength than required, he wasn’t involved and couldn’t feel exactly how much the strength was. Jiang Dao didn’t even cry out in pain, which caused him to make a mistake in judgment. In order to confirm whether the substitute was really acting as a demon, he repeated the scene many times.

Jiang Dao didn’t care about the bruise. “How can this be considered serious…”

Chu Yinlong was also speechless for a while, and finally waved to the assistant: “Take him away.”

Due to this incident, filming was temporarily interrupted.

The assistant director began to urgently contact the actors who were originally scheduled for tomorrow, and the props and scene managers also began to prepare the scenes needed for the next scene.

Chu Yinlong stared at the doctors and nurses applying medicine for Jiang Dao. Seeing that Jiang Dao’s arm really started to turn blue, his brows wrinkled even deeper: “Sorry, I should have stopped him earlier.”

“When Xiao Yang comes back, I will let him take you to the hospital.” After speaking, he sighed.

If the force used by the other party could hurt his bones, he wouldn’t have played with him for so long. How could he still think about completing the scene and let the other party repeatedly hit him so many times?

Besides… a bone injury is much more painful than this. He has rich experience and will never make a mistake in judgment.
