Chu Junshan absolutely wasn’t just saying it.
He stood up and, with an aggressive gesture, hooked his fingers around the other man’s sleeve. The next moment, Liang Xingyuan was pulled closer by a force, his arms unconsciously spreading open. Very soon, a warm figure was added to his embrace.
“Didn’t you want to learn?” Chu Junshan said. A smile crept up to his face. For the first time, before Liang Xingyuan, the pair of clear, limpid eyes openly revealed his own desire so directly. “Open your mouth. I’ll teach you how to kiss.”
Outside the window, the sun was swallowed by dark clouds. In the dim light, Liang Xingyuan tried hard to look, yet he could never clearly make out the expression entwined between Chu Junshan’s brows.
Was he… laughing at him?
Liang Xingyuan didn’t know.
At this moment, he merely followed his body’s instincts, earnestly chasing after the other’s two soft lips.
This kiss was much more practiced than the last, no longer unfamiliar or caught off guard.
Liang Xingyuan truly was a good student.
Chu Junshan had taught him quite a lot, and Liang Xingyuan accepted every bit of it. Turning the tables and taking the initiative, he placed fine, dense kisses over Chu Junshan’s porcelain-white face, the tip of his nose lightly brushing against the bridge of Chu Junshan’s nose, carrying a somewhat indistinct sense of intimacy.
“Does it feel good to kiss?” Chu Junshan raised a hand and pressed it against his chest, letting out a soft, low laugh and leaving himself a little room to catch his breath. “I’m asking you.”
Only after Liang Xingyuan pulled away did he belatedly realize that he seemed to have taken advantage of Chu Junshan again. His cheeks and ears grew even redder. As though he felt ashamed and embarrassed by what he had just done, he hesitated for quite a while before finally gathering his courage and softly saying, “…It feels good.”
“Was it my teaching that was better, or what those books of yours taught you?”
Chu Junshan could see the predicament of this thin-skinned monster, but he suddenly developed a bit of a mischievous streak and didn’t want to let the other man escape so easily from the trap he had painstakingly set.
Liang Xingyuan was very grateful that the weather outside was gradually turning overcast. Otherwise, Chu Junshan, sitting across from him, would definitely have noticed that his cheeks were burning red right now. “Teacher Chu teaches well.”
Chu Junshan sat back down on the tatami where his office seat was. He narrowed his eyes slightly, the corners of them curving, and lightly turned his wrist. His index finger tapped against the tea table, producing soft, rhythmic sounds, like a subtle signal.
“Then… want to kiss again?”
A light breeze carrying moist vapor freely threaded its way through the treetops. As the branches swayed and brushed against the leaves, they produced soft rustling sounds.
Before long, it began to rain outside the window. Quite a few slender threads of rain leaped in through the window, streaking the neat, clean floor with trails of water.
An ambiguous atmosphere quietly grew and spread through the spacious living room. Liang Xingyuan forced himself to turn his head away, but his gaze refused to obey him in the slightest, remaining tightly glued to Chu Junshan’s bright, beautiful lips, glistening with a thin sheen of moisture.
Liang Xingyuan, who had just wanted to refuse, shamefully took a step forward, carrying himself with the air of a hero marching bravely toward his death.
Isn’t it just kissing? Then kiss! A man who doesn’t kiss isn’t a real man!!
Thinking this, Liang Xingyuan took another step forward. However, what he hadn’t expected was that Yaoyaoling, who had been hungry for an entire morning, harbored more resentment than a ghost and, seizing the opportunity to take revenge, suddenly darted over from the side and tripped him hard—
With a bang, Liang Xingyuan dropped to both knees, looking just like a young attendant about to serve Chu Junshan tea and offer him incense!
Liang Xingyuan: “…”
He was a little afraid to raise his head and look at the expression on Chu Junshan’s face. His gaze followed the troublemaking Yaoyaoling as he braced himself and quietly explained, “It was Yaoyaoling…”
Yet Chu Junshan acted as though he hadn’t noticed Liang Xingyuan making a fool of himself. His eyes lowered slightly, his long, thick lashes fluttering. “Come here.”
…The way things were now, it felt even more like he was calling over an obedient dog.
Liang Xingyuan raised his head slightly, once again getting his wish as he captured those two soft, warm lips.
With the lesson from before, Liang Xingyuan turned the tables and took the initiative, no longer seeming quite so passive.
He’s so sweet.
…I like him so much.
However, besides that feeling of liking him, he could sense something even more distinct—
At some point, the tentacles beneath him, surging like waves, suddenly became agitated. As though they had caught the scent of the fragrance of the human they adored, they all wanted to poke their heads out and appear.
Liang Xingyuan: “!”
What were they trying to do?!
“Go back, go back,” he gritted out, ordering the tentacles. “Otherwise, I’ll chop you up and send you off to be grilled.”
Having already been threatened once, the tentacles seemed to have become thoroughly familiar with Liang Xingyuan’s tactics. Instead of retreating, they pushed their luck, eagerly testing their limits as they tried to reach toward Chu Junshan.
Why… weren’t they listening to him anymore?
The thought flashed through his mind. Liang Xingyuan frowned, but his attention was quickly drawn away by Chu Junshan.
“You’ve improved a lot,” Chu Junshan commented objectively.
Liang Xingyuan tried his best to keep a calm expression. After tossing out, “I’m going to make lunch”, he hurriedly fled the scene.
His gaze uncontrollably passed through those sucker-covered tentacles, looking toward Chu Junshan, who was still in the living room feeding Yaoyaoling freeze-dried treats.
So fragrant, so fragrant, so fragrant, so fragrant, so fragrant, so fragrant, so fragrant, so fragrant…
I want him, I want him, I want him—
Unheard echoes circled and reverberated through the living room, yet Chu Junshan remained completely unaware. With a faint smile, he lowered his head and stroked Yaoyaoling’s furry head.
As though bewitched, Liang Xingyuan’s eyes were dazzled by that smile. He abruptly withdrew his gaze.
Those improper thoughts once again surfaced beyond his control. A desire to entangle and possess, one that could not be shown to anyone, arose of its own accord.
But… he couldn’t do this.
This was the partner he had chosen for himself, the one he liked.
He wanted to be with him in the way humans did. The fact that he was a monster absolutely could not be discovered by Chu Junshan.
Unlike the awkward unease he had displayed in front of Chu Junshan just moments ago, the temperature around Liang Xingyuan seemed to drop considerably.
“I’ll only say this once.” Liang Xingyuan lowered his eyes, his gaze following the direction of his focus downward until it landed on a disobedient tentacle poking out by his feet. “You’re not allowed to touch him.”
As soon as the words fell, that tentacle was cleanly severed from beneath him by a flash of silver light, transparent blood flowing out in an unending stream.
These tentacles had already developed consciousness of their own. At this moment, they were curled up into a ball in pain. As they struggled, the pinkish-white flesh contracted and expanded, screaming madly, “Aaaaaaah—Have you gone crazy?!”
Liang Xingyuan’s expression was cold. “It has nothing to do with you.”
Recalling how these tentacles had nearly gone out of control just now, his expression grew several degrees colder as he warned, “You monsters, don’t let me find out…”
Before Liang Xingyuan could finish speaking, a soft sound came from outside.
“Liang Xingyuan.”
He froze for a moment, then immediately realized that Chu Junshan was calling him.
However, the voice seemed to be coming from somewhere very far away, muffled by something and indistinct, making it difficult to hear clearly.
Following the sound, he walked out and discovered that the voice was coming from the bathroom.
“Can you help me get my clothes?” Chu Junshan’s voice came through a crack in the partially opened bathroom door. Hazy, warm steam rushed out of the bathroom, carrying Chu Junshan’s distinctive, delicate fragrance. “They’re on the bed.”
Liang Xingyuan’s heart skipped a beat. He forcibly steadied his racing heartbeat, yet he still couldn’t manage to remain completely calm.
He quickly walked over and, following Chu Junshan’s instructions, passed the clothes through the gap in the door.
He held out his hand. Whether intentionally or unintentionally, Chu Junshan’s damp fingertips brushed against Liang Xingyuan’s wrist, leaving behind a streak of moisture.
“Thank you,” Chu Junshan said.
The door closed once more before Liang Xingyuan’s eyes.
Liang Xingyuan remained silent, lowering his head slightly. Unable to help himself, he leaned down to breathe in the scent belonging to Chu Junshan that had lingered on his hand.
So fragrant.
His body temperature was slowly rising, his heartbeat accelerating uncontrollably, thudding against his ribs again and again until even his chest ached from the pounding.
What was even more excessive was that those tentacles he had just “taught a lesson” to had once again returned, refusing to behave.
Unseen tentacles, while he remained completely unaware, had taken up positions in every corner of the bedroom, slithering about as though they were surrounding a prey that was already within easy reach.
So fragrant.
He smells so good.
Want to touch him?
A voice whispered in Liang Xingyuan’s ear.
The soft sensation of the other’s lips resurfaced at that moment. Amid the thin mist that had yet to dissipate, it seemed as though the familiar face of his beloved had condensed before him.
The tentacles beneath him writhed and surged without end, like raging waves.
Eat him. Let him remain inside your body forever.
The tentacles began to move about in complete loss of control. Just as Liang Xingyuan was about to fall into the black net woven from desire and greed, a soft sound came from the closed door.
At just the right moment, Chu Junshan pushed the door open, revealing half of his body veiled in mist. His tea-brown eyes appeared exceptionally bright amid the thick, billowing steam.
“Are you still out there?”
He held out one hand. With just one more step forward, he would be able to see the tentacles that were raging and surging about. Yet he remained completely unaware of them as he softly asked, “Could you… help me get the towel, too?”
