Lin Sheng didn’t return with the beef he went to the kitchen for.

It was almost midnight when Yan Leyan finished drinking with the rest. He had a room on the second floor of the main building, and Lin Sheng always stayed with him when he came over. At this time, Lin Sheng, who had a regular schedule, was already asleep. Yan Leyan was afraid of waking him up, so he tiptoed into the room, but the phone suddenly rang.

The whole process took less than five minutes. Even Lin Sheng’s strict grandfather would have to praise it as smooth and flowing. These hoodlums were like slow-motion in front of a professional fighter. They didn’t know the appropriate attack distance or where to attack most effectively. Lin Sheng also had to control his strength to avoid causing serious injuries.

The owner of the adult store heard the commotion and came out, only to see the taillights of the motorcycle disappearing, and three men lying on the ground groaning.

Qu Baiyuan seemed to think seriously for a moment before saying, “I don’t have a need for them at the moment.”

At that moment, Yan Leyan popped his head out from the end of the corridor. “Lin Sweetie, what are you doing?! That’s for room 206!”

Lin Sheng suddenly snapped out of it, snatching the box from Qu Baiyuan and then ringing the doorbell for room 206.

Tong Lize quickly opened the door, visibly struggling to hold back his emotions, his eyes red. He said a quick thank you and closed the door again.

In less than a minute, Lin Sheng was overwhelmed by the rich scent of omega overflowing from their room, making it hard for him to breathe. The sickly sweet smell enveloped him like a dense web, making his head even heavier.

He hurriedly ran into Yan Leyan’s room, and Yan Leyan, speechless, rubbed his temples. “What are you doing, being silly like this?”

Feeling unwell, Lin Sheng didn’t respond. He took a quick shower, changed into pajamas, and lay back in bed.

Yan Leyan didn’t notice anything wrong with him and kept talking, “I knew you were back when I heard the motorcycle. I was wondering why you were so slow! Then I opened the door and saw you standing outside Qu Baiyuan’s room!”

Lin Sheng pulled the blanket over his head. “I’m very tired, going to sleep.”

Yan Leyan could only shut up and lie back in bed, reaching out to turn off the light.

They slept on a double bed. Yan Leyan slept soundly and fell asleep as soon as his head touched the pillow.

Lin Sheng tossed and turned in bed for a while, feeling the glands in the back of his neck swelling and hurting. The skin with the suppressant patch also itched uncomfortably. He took off the patch, and the room was filled with a sweet milky smell. He felt his body temperature rising, as if he were in heat.

He nudged Yan Leyan beside him. “Where’s the suppressant?”

Lin Sheng had no choice but to get up and go downstairs to get the suppressant. He didn’t bother changing clothes, just wore cotton pajamas with a rabbit printed on the chest, emitting a milky scent as he descended the stairs.

The fridge was in the dining room, but since the lights were off, the light from the courtyard illuminated everything inside, but he didn’t notice someone sitting by the dining table.

Qu Baiyuan, whose peaceful sleep had been disturbed, was wide awake and decided to finish his online classes downstairs. In the quiet of the night, he caught a faint milky fragrance, which gradually became stronger.

Then he saw Lin Sheng, still half-asleep, coming down from upstairs, walking straight to the dining room, and staring into the fridge in a daze, with Qu Baiyuan sitting less than a meter away from it.

This omega didn’t even bother hiding his own pheromones, and the sweet smell rippled through the air like water ripples. Qu Baiyuan closed his laptop, propped up his chin, and watched him in the dim light.

Lin Sheng stared into the fridge, filled with various drinks and foods, but couldn’t find the suppressant. However, the blast of cold air made his overheated skin somewhat relieved, so he stood there waiting for this wave of fever to pass.

The fridge made a piercing beep after being left open for too long. A hand reached from behind to close it. Lin Sheng was startled; he hadn’t expected someone else to be in the dining room.

“What are you doing?” Qu Baiyuan asked him.

Lin Sheng’s heart pounded, feeling a bit unsteady on his feet. He leaned against the fridge door and tried to calm down. “Nothing.”

Qu Baiyuan reached out and turned on the dining table light, looking at the abnormal flush on Lin Sheng’s neck. He said very slowly, “You don’t look fine.”

“I’m really fine,” Lin Sheng insisted, pretending that the milky scent filling the room had nothing to do with him.

There was a faint, elusive scent of tea in the air, much like some kind of high-mountain red tea, which was Qu Baiyuan’s pheromone scent. The mix of tea and milk made Lin Sheng feel weak in the knees. His instinctive response was to emit more and more pheromones, the tingling sensation from his glands spreading through his whole body like electric currents.

Qu Baiyuan also seemed to be struggling a bit. He grasped Lin Sheng’s shoulders and turned him around, whispering, “Are you going into heat?”

Lin Sheng’s body stiffened for a moment. He couldn’t control the urge to fall into Qu Baiyuan’s arms, but his rationality fought desperately, telling himself not to be influenced by the pheromones.

“Don’t act like your mom!” his grandfather’s stern voice suddenly jumped into his mind, like a wake-up call. Lin Sheng instantly became clear-headed.

His heart was pounding loudly in his chest, making a deafening sound.
