After the two of them left, the immortals of the Nine Heavens remained rooted to the spot.
The ‘Little Immortal Lord’ they had always assumed him to be…turned out to be Emperor Chen Xing, the very Forefather of their Nine Heavens Immortal Realm?
Had they opened their eyes the wrong way? Were they trapped in some kind of illusion? How else could they have witnessed such an unbelievable scene?
Yet, their keen immortal senses told them clearly that it was all real.
Only the Heavenly Empress, amidst the wailing of Little Yellow Peach, murmured softly: “…So, Emperor Chen Xing and Ancestor Heguang really are a couple…”
The Heavenly Emperor’s face darkened as he fumed inwardly: A couple?!
But he dared not utter a single word. That was an ancient ancestor from ten thousand years ago, and he had no desire to see his soul extinguished.
Prudence prevailed.

Meanwhile, in the Demon Realm within the Land of Immortals and Demons, the denizens felt a surge of fear merely from sensing two powerful auras passing by.
When the Turtle Diviner Immortal returned, accompanied by a young immortal attendant in yellow robes, the others spoke up with lingering trepidation.
“Those two who just passed by were truly terrifying. Does the Diviner know who they were?”
“Indeed. Just having their auras sweep past made my demon soul tremble, they are…they are simply too powerful!”
Before the Turtle Diviner could speak, Little Yellow Peach lifted his chin and replied, “Those were Ancestor Heguang and Emperor Chen Xing. They are far beyond the likes of you.”
“Ancestor Heguang?!”
“Emperor Chen Xing?!”
Hadn’t those two sacrificed themselves long ago?
The inhabitants of the Land of Immortals and Demons gazed toward the two tallest, largest monuments in the Forest of Steles, their eyes filled with shock.
Little Yellow Peach cleared up their confusion: “Back then, the Old Ancestor’s body and soul were utterly destroyed, leaving behind only a few scattered fragments. Emperor Chen Xing gathered those fragments and used a secret technique to nurture them within his own Sea of Star-Souls. It was only after the Old Ancestor’s soul had been fully restored to its original state that he was able to be reborn.”
The Turtle-Divination Immortal asked, “Was that the Star Clan’s ‘soul-nurturing-soul’ technique? If so, why was Emperor Chen Xing unharmed…”
Little Yellow Peach rolled his eyes: “No star in the cosmos lasts forever, and besides, the Emperor underwent reincarnation!”
“Upon reincarnating, the Emperor lost his memories. The Old Ancestor asked me for a ten thousand year old peach dew to help him regain them, now that the two have reunited, who knows where they’ve gone off to enjoy their carefree lives.”
The denizens of the Demon Realm were stirred with excitement upon hearing this.
“As expected of the Old Ancestor, finding a dao companion actually saved his life!”
“Precisely! Who would have thought that the ‘Supreme Treasure’ of our Demon Realm turning out to be the Old Ancestor’s rebirth?”
“By that logic, the Immortal Realm had a Supreme Treasure emerge too, Emperor Chen Xing.”
Someone chimed in shamelessly: “Not at all, not at all! Emperor Chen Xing was taken away by our Old Ancestor! He counts as ours now, belonging to the Demon Realm!”
“So, what do we do?”
— “Let’s go, let’s go! Back to our own territory in the Demon Realm!”
Relations between the Immortal and Demon Realms had improved significantly since the great war ten thousand years ago. Now that the mystery of the ‘Supreme Treasure’ was solved, everyone packed up and prepared to head home.
The crowd from the Demon Realm headed back in high spirits, eager to spread the tale of the Old Ancestor’s resurrection, and the fact that he had whisked away the Nine Heavens’ Emperor Chen Xing was the highlight of the story.

Jing Heguang had no idea what those young ones were up to.
After taking Chen Xing away from the Nine Heavens, he didn’t travel far. Hovering above the boundary between the Immortal and Demon Realms, the site of that ancient war, he located a familiar spatial rift and slipped into a pocket of shattered space.
For ordinary immortals and cultivators of the Demon Realm, these fractured spatial pockets were perilous zones. Yet for Jing Heguang and Chen Xing, they were merely secluded sanctuaries where they could escape prying eyes.
Ten thousand years ago, amidst the intervals of war, they would shake off their annoying pursuers and slip into these fractured spaces to be alone together.
It was during those stolen moments of respite that the leaders of the Immortal and Demon realms fell in love.
The pocket they entered this time was familiar territory.
Inside, the world was a realm of white. Across the frozen earth grew groves of ‘Xuegui’, snow white osmanthus trees.
Ten thousand years had passed, the saplings of old had grown into towering giants, their vast canopies vast enough to veil the sky.
The air was perfumed with the faint, delicate scent of osmanthus. From the silver branches hung not only translucent silver leaves but also clusters of blossoms resembling soft, white down.
It was a breathtakingly beautiful sight, familiar yet stirring, evoking memories of a long lost past.
Jing Heguang lowered his gaze. His eyes, traced with faint red veins, fixed upon Chen Xing with a look that was at once fierce and deeply infatuated.
Chen Xing looked up. Jing Heguang’s peerlessly handsome face was close enough to touch, while the sea of snow-white osmanthus blossoms filled the distance beyond.
He blew a gentle breath upward.
The clusters of blossoms drifted down like snowflakes, an overwhelming flurry that descended with the softest, gentlest touch.
No longer the golden osmanthus of the mortal world, a white blossom was caught between Chen Xing’s lips as he tilted his face upward.
Jing Heguang held him in a tight, passionate embrace.
At first, it was merely a brush of lips, but the passion quickly spiraled beyond control…
Intimate sounds swirled beneath the silver trees.
Garments lay scattered about, and dark hair fanned across the ground. Their jade-like skin, illuminated by the surrounding ice and snow, took on a faint pink flush, as if even their bodies were blushing with desire.
A long while later…Jing Heguang panted as he spoke: “Xingxing, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have snapped at you.”
Leaning against the man’s side, Chen Xing felt his heart flutter at hearing that intimate nickname, one no one else had ever used for him. Yet, the stubborn words that followed left him feeling a mix of amusement and exasperation.
After having devoured him thoroughly, not just once, but several times over, the man was still stubbornly fixated on that suicidal sacrifice?
Chen Xing gave a punitive pinch to the sensitive peak of Jing Heguang’s chest, twisting hard enough to make the man hiss in pain. “Jing Heguang, if you dare go throw your life away, why couldn’t I save you?”
Jing Heguang fought for the common people and for protection, he felt fully justified in courting death, yet he went mad at the thought of Chen Xing trying to save him — it was truly unreasonable.
Jing Heguang caught his hand. “If I die, I die. As long as you live, that is enough.”
Chen Xing retorted angrily, “Do you take me for that kind of person?”
“…No,” Jing Heguang said. “But I want you to live.”
Ten thousand years ago, his death had been inevitable.
He could not allow the Zerg to overrun their world. the Zerg thrived on destruction, draining a world of all its energy before moving on to the next.
The common people were innocent, and as a powerful being, he bore the responsibility to protect them.
However, Chen Xing was different. He could survive, like the Turtle Diviner, or the many others from the realms of Immortals and Demons who had lived on.
Chen Xing had known him for a long time and was well aware that the man was fiercely protective and utterly unreasonable. There was no point in trying to reason with him anymore.
Gritting his teeth, Chen Xing lunged forward and bit down hard on the man’s chest.
An immortal’s body does not easily retain marks, the pressure didn’t cause pain so much as an intense, maddening itch.
The bite stirred an itch deep within Jing Heguang’s heart, and his ‘little brother’ began to stir restlessly once more. As he planted kisses on his partner, he murmured, “The Immortal Emperor has started a fire, come quickly and put it out.”

After spending over a month dallying and sharing intimate moments within that pocket of fractured space, the two finally emerged.
Before leaving, Jing Heguang took care to seal off the area to prevent anyone else from stumbling inside.
Concealing their auras, the pair first made a quick tour of the nearby Nine Heavens Immortal Realm before heading toward the Demon Realm.

The Demon Realm boasted a ‘Celestial Street’ renowned for its delicious food, and on that street, the roast chicken and wine at the Fox Family Tavern were the most fragrant of all.
In the bustling main hall of the Fox Family Tavern, a group of patrons sat eating roast chicken and drinking wine.
Little Yellow Peach sat on the tavern owner’s lap, happily gnawing on a large chicken leg.
Even while munching away, Little Yellow Peach didn’t forget to disparage the ‘Immortal Dew’ of the Immortal Realm.
Although Little Yellow Peach looked like a celestial child, he was no ordinary peach at heart, his pit was pitch black. Far from merely eating ordinary flesh, he had even gnawed on phoenix meat in the past.
It couldn’t be helped. The boss he served was formidable, and delicacies like dragon liver or phoenix gall were nothing more than appetizers.
After finishing a fragrant, meaty chicken leg, Little Yellow Peach turned to the stunning beauty attending to him and said, “Little Fox, your cooking is amazing! Saving you was definitely worth it.”
Jing Heguang and Chen Xing had awakened within the last century, but Little Yellow Peach had roused even earlier. When he first woke up, the denizens of the Immortal Realm mistook him for an immortal ascending from the lower realms.
He spent his time in the Immortal Realm, keeping watch over the Old Ancestor and the Immortal Emperor for a thousand years, until the Old Ancestor finally returned to life.
During that long wait, the fox owner of this tavern had been captured and kept as a pet by people from the Immortal Realm because of his beautiful fur.
Upon realizing the fox was one of his own kind, Little Yellow Peach had knocked the captors unconscious and set the little fox free, thus establishing a debt of gratitude.
Praised by Little Yellow Peach, the beauty smiled and handed him a chicken wing.
Little Yellow Peach accepted it delightedly, his small mouth soon glistening with grease as he gnawed away.
Yet, right in the middle of his feast, two fingers reached down from the air, grabbed him by the collar, and hauled him away.
From within the tavern, one could still hear Little Yellow Peach’s joyful cry of “Old Ancestor!”
***
After plucking Little Yellow Peach away, Jing Heguang held him up, looked him over, and gave his chubby cheeks a playful pinch. He finally concluded: “You’ve put on weight.”
Little Yellow Peach wiped his mouth: “No, I haven’t!”
After wiping his mouth, Little Yellow Peach spun around and hugged Jing Heguang’s thigh: “Ancestor, you finally remembered me! I ran out of peach dew and waited a thousand years in the Immortal Realm, I’ve practically starved myself thin.”
Little Yellow Peach gazed longingly at the Ancestor, grinning slyly as he waited for a reward.
Instead, Jing Heguang gave a soft harrumph and countered: “Answer me honestly, did you know all along that Yun Xing was the reincarnation of Chen Xing?”
Little Yellow Peach felt a sudden, inexplicable twinge of guilt: “I…I did know.”
Jing Heguang asked: “Then why didn’t you tell me sooner?”
Little Yellow Peach cried out: “I didn’t know that ‘you’ didn’t know!”
Jing Heguang frowned as he looked at Little Yellow Peach, deciding to believe him for the moment. After all, although Little Yellow Peach had lived a long time, he never really seemed all that bright.
He asked again: “What was the deal with the settings for those small worlds?”
“The basic background was set by the Heavenly Emperor and the Heavenly Empress, the two of them wanted to break you two up.”
“Of course, I couldn’t let them get their way,” Little Yellow Peach said smugly. “So, I had the Immortal Emperor set up the initial world. The Immortal Emperor is so stingy, he wouldn’t even allow Ancestor to be with anyone else in a fake world. If anyone else touched Ancestor, they’d turn fat!”
“Then I assigned Ancestor a ‘dote on your husband’ mission so you could focus on loving the Immortal Emperor! And just to make sure you had fun, I threw in a few little twists!”
Little Yellow Peach felt incredibly proud of himself. Even though a few of those twists had minor hiccups, it didn’t detract from his magnificent achievements in the slightest.
Jing Heguang’s mouth twitched at the thought of those ‘little twists’.
Still, upon reflection, each of those small worlds did have its own unique charm.
Jing Heguang reached out and tapped Little Yellow Peach on the forehead, then fished a storage pouch out of his sleeve-space and tossed it to him. “Aside from some odds and ends, there’s also some meat from a divine beast I had left over. It’s incredibly potent, so don’t eat too much.”
“Hehe, a supreme delicacy. Thank you, Old Ancestor!”
Little Yellow Peach had just received a direct infusion of power from the Old Ancestor, gaining the equivalent of thousands of years of arduous cultivation out of nowhere, along with tasty treats and countless treasures. He was thoroughly satisfied.
Little Yellow Peach tactfully said, “Then I’ll go back to eating my roast chicken. I won’t disturb you any further, Old Ancestor.”
“Wait.”
Jing Heguang called out to Little Yellow Peach and hoisted him up. “Where’s my stuff?”
Little Yellow Peach looked bewildered. “What stuff?”
Jing Heguang shook him, causing two small dolls to tumble out, which he caught in his hand.
One was a doll of a Shiba Inu, and the other was a doll of the Maltese tiger. The little tiger doll was even clutching a pink rose.
Little Yellow Peach suddenly felt a sense of fullness, and not just from the food.
He silently grumbled to himself: Is Old Ancestor a total romantic sap?
But his Old Ancestor was not only a romantic sap but also quite ruthless. He used two fingers to plop Little Yellow Peach back where he came from, acting as if nothing had happened.
Meanwhile, Chen Xing had just emerged from the Spirit Pool and was about to use his immortal sense to locate Jing Heguang.
Jing Heguang appeared right in front of him.
In a moment of surprise, he found something in his hand.
Chen Xing looked down and saw the doll of little Shiba Inu.
He raised his eyes, and their smiling gazes met.
Jing Heguang took the pink rose from the little tiger doll’s grasp and handed it to him with a contented air.
Chen Xing accepted the flower. One lowered his head while the other tilted his up, and they shared a gentle kiss.
After the kiss, Jing Heguang smiled and said, “Later, I’ll cast a spell on myself: Anyone other than you who touches me will instantly gain weight.”
Author’s Note: The main story concludes here—Happy Qixi Festival, everyone!
I’ll be writing a short extra story: Celebrity Top x Sugar Daddy Bottom. It’s mostly about cutting off one’s own flesh to feed oneself — I really want to see that, haha.
