After closing the office door and stepping out of the teaching building, Lin Huanyan finally felt completely at ease.

Lu Yuan noticed the girl lost in thought and took the initiative to greet her.

Lin Huanyan quickly regained her composure and replied.

“Hello, I’m Lin Huanyan. I’m the researcher assigned to the black hole research lab.”

“Comrade Lin, have you packed your things? Do you need assistance?”

“I’ve already packed everything and stored it in my space capsule.”

“Alright, let’s go.”

“This is the hall. You can move around here during the day. Room 002 next door is your bedroom. You can enter with a fingerprint scan. It’s fully equipped with toiletries and nutritional supplements.”

“I just sent you a friend request on your smart device. Please accept it. You can contact me anytime if you have questions.”

“Alright, understood. I’d like to head to my bedroom and settle in.”

After saying goodbye to Lu Yuan, Lin Huanyan headed straight to her bedroom.

Although Officer Lu’s tone was polite, his presence was overwhelming, leaving Lin Huanyan feeling a bit pressured and eager to leave.

The bedroom was smaller than her school dorm but adequately furnished, with a standard bed and neatly folded bedding on top.

The best feature was the large porthole that spanned half the wall.
